First Gear: It’s really no surprise that the cheaper model is their best selling model. The trend of lower cost models with better sales will likely continue with the Model 3. I think the S and X both need pretty heavy refreshes both inside and out.

Overall I really like the looks of the car, inside and out. Just needs lowered a bit
Neutral: Having driven cars for so long without the features, I dont really rely on them. Backing up I still look at my mirrors, although I’ve gotten better using my camera in tight spots. Even with blind spot monitoring I still look, just out of habit. Never needed emergency braking.
Neutral: Nope, never even thought about it before. After seeing this and thinking about it...nope not at all.
In what way are the Big 3 circling the drain?
My only issue with this car is the sound. I enjoy a good sounding 4cyl, but the 2.3 Ecoboost is not a good sounding 4cyl.
Been knows to makes a batch on occasion
Ford Flex Ecoboost
WTF, 14 and 15 year olds doing this kind of stuff. When I was their age I was too busy fapping to steal anything.
Neutral: I feel like there is a lot of attention given to EVs, just most of it seems to be of talk rather than anything coming to fruition. I still think EVs have a ways to go before they become mainstream. As far as range I think we’re about there, it’s just the recharge times that need to improve the most. As with…
I went down the wrong path
Exactly! There needs to be responsability on the parts of the pedestrian and driver to pay attention too. Back when Pokemon go was huge I almost hit a woman playing it, wasnt watching where she was walking and walk right off the curb in front of me. Had I not been paying attention shed prob been dead or seriously…
First Gear: The state of Michigan is far too dependent on the auto industry.
First Gear: I agree with Ford’s idea of electrifying their popular models and using the name power to get people to buy them. What I dont agree with is how long it’s taking Ford to make this happen. They are great when it comes to talking about whats coming, piss poor as actually executing and showing what coming. I…
I really like it, but it got me thinking. Instead of Hummer, GM should revive Isuzu in the US as an EV brand. First model be a modern/retro take on the first gen Impulse.
The configurator is live, seems like we only get the 110 here. Also dont see the diesels available.
Neutral: Will Nissan be alright? Well have you ever heard a death rattle before? Or is it more a a death hair ball?
Neutral: I just hope for Barra’s sake its not just her and Trump or he might try to grab her by the.......
For me it would be. I absolutely hate Tesla interiors, with the Model 3 being the biggest offender. Plus I really doubt Porsche will have the same quality issue that exists on Tesla even today.
Neutral: I considered it, went and looked at an ATS 2.0T. Needless to say I walked away pretty unimpressed. Cadillac really has no panache, there really isnt a model that Im like oh thats nice. Yet seeing a new Navigator or Continental I about break my neck to look at. Cadillac is in the same kinda space as Infiniti,…
