I actually like the car. This is something I’ve been starting to consider as a replacement for my daily driver. My only gripe is I wish it had an optional turbo 4.

I was just basing the numbers on my experience. I have a coworker with a Super Duty that wont buy anything but, have some buddies that all own Chevy and same thing, only buy Chevys. People with Rams that are the same way too. So I probably am pretty high, but there is a lot of brand loyalty in trucks.
1st Gear: It’s going to take more than just the amount of trucks you can produce to take the number 2 spot. Trucks are kind of an odd market simply because there seems to be a lot more brand loyalty there than the other vehicle types. I’d say at least 95% of truck owners I know will only buy trucks from one particular…
Neutral: I think Ford is being kind of smart in partnering with VW for markets they are weak in. Losing money is not a good thing so if they can remain in those markets and make a profit it’s all good. I still am leary about their plans for the US. I think they are banking on customer loyalty too much so pretty sure…
Yup, just saw that. My Focus is on the list as well :(
3rd Gear: I really hope a few years from now we look back like, maybe Hackett wasnt as dumb as we thought.
What now? Simple, keep doing what they are doing. Work on improving quality as well as efficiency. Try to improve on what theyve done right thus far and keep moving forward. Not surprised they have finally made a profit, they just need to prove they can continue to in order to prove their long term viability. Will be…
I think it’s a NP. The car is an absolute cherry and it hasnt been bastardized all to hell.
I’d have no problem driving a 400hp Cavalier
Not sure if this is engine cleaning or the beginning of some kind of anime.
I love this damn thing. That’s plenty of range for my needs as I rarely go on longer road trips. Plus unlike some other EVs it doesnt look stupid on the inside, just normal lol.
Also the new ad explains why Ford doesnt talk about what they’re doing, they’re too busy building.
Yeah I can get that. I guess being that there are so many I really dont pay attention to them. The Chevy “Real People” ads have ruined car ads forever.
Neutral: I’m sure it will work for some people, but at the same time I’ve never been wooed by a car ad into buying said car without proper research. I honestly dont think anyone within Ford (including Hackett) has a clear vision of where the company is going.
Neutral: I’d like to see out of all those additional crashes how many of the police reports cite impaired driving due to marijuana as a factor. Then I’d like to see an overall comparison to the number of accidents from drug impairment versus the number of accidents from alcohol impairment. Personally I think this is…
I’m gonna make a General Grant Focus
“Remember when Ford owned Volvo and Jaguar? Oh, also, most of Mazda? Those didn’t end in success, exactly.” There is a major difference in owning a company and being a partner.
Nissan is all about letting models go well past their prime before doing anything with them. With Infiniti having that 400hp 3.0T they have what they need to make a great 300Z, but they will likely find a way to dick it up.
Have to wait until the B&P comes out to compare, but IF I had to to buy one of these it would likely be the Edge ST. 335hp & 380 ft-lbs optioned the way I want it would be $48,180.
