THE WRAITH (Chrysler M4S Turbo Interceptor)

Totally agree; that's why the Back to the Future Delorean with Marty and Doc was such a big hit; a small package with plenty of cool features and unique minifigs for a price not too colossal to fathom. Sell each car individually, and you got yourself a lego-set-buster.

Pick a Brick is good, but like you said, it can get expensive pretty quick. Bricklink is a better non-Lego-sponsored marketplace to buy legos, not only because it's cheaper but because you have a ton more variety in what parts you can find. Some vendors will even specialize in selling unique chromed Lego pieces.

$800 is a big ask, considering their Ultimate-series Millennium Falcon (over 5,000 pieces) was around the $600 mark. And that's a huuuuge set with a ton of parts.

I guess it comes down to personal choice rather than exclusivity; it's just easier to use a single-piece slope element (which he did, if you check his Flickr page of another Porsche he built) - others just want to go into deep details.

If he submits this via Lego's CUUSCO (open-source custom set submission) then Lego just might, if his set gets enough supporters; maybe not all the cars, but a few of them at least.

That, right there, is class; whereas an amateur Lego builder would just simply find some sort of curved element to simulate that smooth back-end, a true expert like this guy molds the shape himself using multiple elements. Bravo, sir. Bravo.

Me too!! :D

As it's coming down around 0:18, this Fiero seriously looks badass; that wide body and wedge shape, along with that lip spoiler at the back just makes me tingle all throughout.

Indeed; that's a pretty high price to pay for "peace of mind" - then again, plenty of people would do it for the sake of having the fastest (and most reliable) production Evo in all the land.

The new Acura TLX... it's like...

2. Temperature Tease Now have some fun with him by blasting the AC for a couple of minutes, then switching to heat. Or turn the seat warmer on while the air conditioner is running. Not only does it add to the surprise factor because he doesn't know what's coming next, but transitioning from hot to cold also makes his

Let's also not forget about the RR Phantom's door-mounted umbrella...

"The only reason I can see it being a "controversial" vehicle, is for the sham that closed Pontiac's doors before the G8 was able to properly see the light of day properly, and not behind a desperate pane of sadness to come."

Good list. Here are a few more worthy of mention:

Accord eh? sneaky... I'd say the only other shocker (before the van of course) was a golden Pontiac G6, completely unmarked.

Well, holy shit; are there any decals on it at all? Because painted black and with those rims it actually blends in quite easily.

Thing is, a new Grand Caravan has what, 290? 295 horsepower? But it's a VAN, something that has the precision of a drunk running downhill.

No, I meant motive. Motive means reason. He had a reason; and like the articles state, it wasn't just one reason; there were two, very big ones: it was personal (his separation) and political (his friend's imprisonment and sexual orientation).

You point your fingers at journalists, yet here you are, reading their findings. What do you expect to find out, exactly? No one knows what happened to the plane, so all anybody can do at this point is piece together puzzles in the dark.
