There was an Ellen animatronic in the EPCOT attraction, Ellen’s Energy Adventure, formerly Universe of Energy. Now it’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

It’s okay, the real Trump looks fake too.

It’s even more hilarious if you know about the *real* Adam Smith (go and listen to Freakonomics’ 3-episode series on him)

Regardless of what your actual opinion is about dealerships... what is the legal argument that justifies mandating their existence? And why wouldn’t the same “reasoning” apply to, say, Apple Stores? Why can Apple sell direct to the public, but not GM?

More concerning to me is that it seems George Harrison doesn’t feature on the track very much or perhaps at all.

Sir Paul later claimed George Harrison refused to work on the song, saying the sound quality of Lennon’s vocal was “rubbish”.

Yeah, all of the headlines on this give off some vague implication that AI may have been used to impersonate or simulate Lennon’s voice.

Buttons cost $$$, I wouldn’t be surprised if not needing to engineer a button stack saved a good chunk of money, same for no instrument cluster. If you want buttons you can spring for the XC40 Recharge for $15k more.

Love the price, the range, the speed, and even the looks—I’d like to see it in person and get a sense of cargo space, but on paper this would be a perfect vehicle for me and my musical gear or dogs. I’m not in the market, but even still, I would want to hold out till at least one of these companies realize they need

This is pretty solid as an entry level introduction into the volvo brand, I dig the minimalist styling and over all “volvoness” of it. Are all the colors tones of grey?

To be fair it’s pretty challenging to find any film that doesn’t fall into some trope. The trick is what they do with it and, so far, this looks like it’s bonkers fun which could make it work.

This film feels like it will be an allegory for the feminist movement. I have a feeling it’s going to be an amazing film.

I just read that the song is going to be in the movie. Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice are doing a cover of the song for the movie.

Yup, which makes me think they might have solved the rights issues and we’ll get it in the end credits. One can hope

Hari Nef as (Doctor) Barbie? I’m not entirely sure though, I’m bad at faces.

Who is the actress who screams “FLAT FEET??” She looks VERY familiar but IMDB is not giving me further illumination.

“Do you ever think about dying?”

Even though they said that Aqua’s Barbie Girl song wasn’t going to be in the movie, they did sneak a couple of seconds of it at the end of the trailer.

Every time I get a little more info about this movie I get more excited. The birkenstocks and stilettos being a stand in for the red pill and blue pill, and Barbie choosing to stay in the fantasy world. *chefs kiss*

My head-canon is that Will Ferrell’s character here and in the live action portions of The Lego Movie are the same character.
