I just sold my ‘91 BRG this past March. I had to make room in the stable for my new Chevy Bolt. It was tough, but I still have my 2004 Mazdaspeed that has less than 50k on the odometer to keep my need for Miata-ness satisfied.

What is the actual point in these games, anyway? I will never be able to comprehend waifu gachas or the people who find them enjoyable. Most of them don’t even really *have* much gameplay to speak of, and the few that do are either not that great or not very successful. Do people really just want to play credit card…
Please stop.
This. Async communications are great. You don’t both have to be available at the same time, with both in an environment that is quiet enough to talk and hear each other.
THIS. don’t EVER call me, I’m busy using my phone to do anything but speak to you
Nothing is more infuriating than someone breaking text messaging protocol and calling instead.
There are some people with whom I simply cannot stand to talk on the phone. They typically call with little purpose and have an inability to wrap up the conversation and say “good-bye.”
I don’t know how it works on iPhones but on android the thing that changed my world was learning that if you hold the space bar button and slide left or right while holding then it will move the blinking cursor. That made a humongous difference in correcting typos or wanting to paste a link in a specific spot.
Please show us the statistic you read where the decline in violence is a direct result of police activity. There could be a myriad of reasons for this.
Right, the whole thing with cops is that they are part of the state monopoly on violence. Superheros often are outside that purposefully.
That does not happen daily.
Do you understand that the good doesn’t outweigh the bad and that doing “good” is actually their job? They’d get more credit for their good members if they actually did something about the bad ones.
It’s not that most cops are bad people. It’s that when they kill somebody, nothing fucking happens.
That helps all the people who’ve been unjustly killed or abused by cops, but it’s great that someone is out there to defend them aside from the government, the judicial system, and police unions.
That’s absolutely true, but they belong to an often shady “brotherhood” that frequently places generating revenue above the health and safety of the public, and maintains a culture that shields its worst members of any repercussions from their bad acts, regardless of the severity (up to and including murdering…
No. In their universe, congress often debates doing something to reign in the abuse of super heroes.
No one really cares what cops want to do, they care about what cops actually do.
So they aren’t cops.
They just don’t go fulfilling the will of the State.
OK, what’s the Air Force going to do about it? Cancel their contracts and send their shit to space on balloons? Or maybe ask the Russians to do it for them?
