What’s been so upsetting about this is that if Musk turned down his bluster a couple of notches and displayed a little humility, we’d probably be a lot more forgiving.

Almost - Ocarina of Time speedruns often use the Chinese-only “iQue Player”, which is based on the Nintendo 64. IIRC that version is preferred simply because the text is shorter, not because of any system-specific glitches. I see the Japanese Wii VC release is pretty popular in the leaderboard - I wonder if there’s a…
For the A Button Challenge, every single version has been examined and studied. The two main contenders are the V1.0 Japanese release, which has some glitches that can shave off a press or two like spawning displacement, and the Wii VC release, which doesn’t crash in certain places that shaves off different A presses.…
Oh dang, this could be huge for the ABC Any% run. Currently, that A-button press to get off that pole is the only A press in the entire run. If it can be eliminated, the game can be beaten with zero A presses.
I don’t think a half cup of orange juice over a full pound of broccoli (plus chicken, rice, etc.) counts as “drowning it”
I don’t think it’s a good deal though by cutting $50 from removing the dock, grip, charger, and hdmi cable. It seems that this is aimed at households that want multiple Switch systems.
This is how they are going to kill the 3DS. The top-line 3DS is $200, a regular Switch bundle is $300, but they just managed to close the gap by $50. When the standard Switch bundle finally gets a price cut, the pricing will be right on top the 3DS. Although, that is still a far cry away from hitting the 2DS price…
Not in Japan, where it’s much more likely you’ll find multiple Switches in a single home. And this is a second option, not a replacement.
Well in the dealership’s defense, she was buying a Fiat. Good enough reason as any to check for a human brain.
FiSTs are probably the most popular single new car in the comments.
I’m not saying it is possible (I’m not an engineer, mechanic, or software developer), but if it is... How is that not cool? I’d love to have a car that can be improved with nothing more than a wifi connection.
I’d agree, from what I could tell the pads and rotors are pretty much the same standard as every other manufacturer so I would be surprised if it was the hardware itself.
I would imagine that ABS mapping and brake force distribution can be changed via an over-the-air update, along with regenerative braking issues. I doubt very much that the problem with the Model 3's brakes that CR found had to do with the pads and rotors.
that started with souped-up cars made for evading the police
Nothing says American pride like an event with Confederate flags everywhere.
Not sure if I come from another planet. But if the car works and still moves properly, then it’s reliable. You can still drive your car to work if the stereo is broken.
Im not saying I want touch screen controls, Im just saying it ought not be lumped into the same reliability group as, say, an engine. Consumer reports reliability ratings are almost exclusively make or break on the ease of using the infotainment. What kind of silly metric is that? Call it “ease of use”, sure, but…
Consumer reports - Where a confusing stereo means an “unreliable car”.
Citation, please.
I don’t recall there being lines of hundreds of people at every BMW dealer in the world when the BMW 2002 came out waiting to buy one
