Was anyone else kind of stunned by the poor CG quality of Pip? Like, it was distractingly bad. I was confused at first, because I thought it was maybe a virtual projection of a computer character or something, but slowly realized it was meant to be physical and real. Looked like an early, unfinalized model, and stood

I watched it in the theater on Friday.

I put racing stripes on my computer, and RGB lights on my car.

I have to imagine he spent extra time working on the power steering.

This is the gaming PC of Aston Martins. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

It’s about lead vs. lead, chase vs. chase across two runs. How well did the lead driver follow the requirements of the course, stay sideways where applicable, get close to the wall, etc., and how well did the chase mimic them throughout, staying as close as possible, without deviating notably? Then comparing the same

It’s changed dramatically over the years, but some calls are just hard to make. I’m not into typical sports, but it feels a lot like those in the way some tough calls have to be made. What’s cool though is getting to hear the judges directly explain their rationale, and oftentimes you’ll watch what looked like a clear

My wife got me heavily into this maybe six years ago, and it’s been a blast to watch. Way more followable than typical racing for my ADHD brain, thanks to the individual short competitions. I love the camaraderie and support between competitors, to the point where they trade parts and repair tips across teams because

I think it’s a perfect example of what Google is trying to make clear about the 6 benchmarks: they’re not the whole story. The 5 is optimized so nicely that most of the time it’s fast and smooth and easy and clean and out of your way, and the battery life and size are just a great mix.

I’m upgrading for a large number of the other functions, but I’m not happy about the size. I had a 3XL for two years which I was relatively happy with overall, but when I moved to the 5, the size was just so comfortable and easy to use that I felt like I’d come home. Honestly, if they’d made the 6 that size, I might

Anything other than a rotary dial would be sacrilege.

Funnier still is Internet Explorer also had this, something like 20 years ago.

I read for this exact same role. I like to convince myself that if I had gotten it instead of Wood, I’d have maintained his exact career path.

I was really surprised the article didn't mention that as it seems like one of the biggest parts of the drama.

Seriously. It deserved its bad press because it failed to live up to its basic expectations. In a line of films with incredibly simple titles that lean in hard to being simple fun, this one didn't. It was just bland.

The article specifically calls out the fact that that’s a prequel to support why they’re not referring to it as such.

I’ve also never lost my phone (or my keys, for that matter, except when my ex-wife borrowed them). But I know enough people who do that, for them, this is a real concern. There’s also the one occasion my phone shattered badly enough the screen was unusable.

The article used the word “lost” more times than I can count. It was clearly not built around a phone merely being stolen.

It’s adorable how you deflect.

You are familiar with the word “implied,” yes?
