...yes, I know you have to use the card to get the 5%. However I don’t see an indication that one has to have Prime to even get the card. But my main question was whether I’d get the 5% if I’m not the, er, prime Prime member.

Yes, but not without first having signed up for the card.

Sorry, I didn’t mean physical household. I mean I’m a member of her Amazon Household, which means I have access to her Prime benefits via my account.

What if I’m in the Amazon Household of someone who’s a Prime member. Do the card benefits apply?

Except here they’re outright stating it’s replacing the Wii U and staying kind of tight-lipped about the 3DS. While with the DS they were very loud about it replacing nothing. But in this case, I feel like in use it’s far better as a 3DS replacement than a home console replacement. So this one’s a different mess.

Sure, I do too. But cracked hinges and all. Across more than one, actually.

In fairness, the 3DS started off pretty shaky. It was excessively expensive. I waffled on it myself before pulling the trigger at $250 and gaining Founders’ Club status. But at $250 it really had no chance. Didn’t hit its stride until the major price drop.

I remember working in a Best Buy and a 40-something customer came in for a microUSB cable for his PSP to transfer music to it. We talked about the super weird limits for music storage on it, and then he followed up with, “well, at least it’s better than that stupid DS, right?” I pulled my DS out of my pocket (a Phat,

Cool. You’re the first person I know whose hinges aren’t cracked.

SP+. Used the same lighting tech as the Micro.

I played one of those at E3. And it did change pretty dramatically, really. Very little similarity between it and the Phat.

I’m comparing the fact that after extensive research was done, the safety issues weren’t found to exist, and the issue was pretty conclusively traced to a combination of driver error and public panic over the prior misleading reports. This sounds quite similar. Lots of people do dumb things, hit the wrong button on

Honestly, this all sounds way too similar to the unintended acceleration scandal. There may be something here, but there may also be a lot of user error combined with bandwagoning and confirmation bias.

Ooh, I’ve got it. Pretty cool. Wonder how it accounts for the new Dittos.

Yes, announced yesterday. They buffed and debuffed a bunch.

Since the previous films copied/paid homage to classic race stories and other film plots, I’m wagering we’re going to see a Niki Lauda/Rush story here, to some degree.

This is how I drive. I always need to know what’s on all four sides of my car because I always need an escape route. If someone veers into my lane, I need to know if I’m safe to veer into the next lane, or if I need to brake or accelerate to compensate.

Sure, but how confident can we be that they’ll be around for long after all hell breaks loose?

That’s been my experience as well. A few nights ago I switched back to using my smartphone with no notable ill effect other than knowing for certain it’ll work if my power goes out. I wasn’t impressed. And $50 is WAY too much money for its features as you noted in a reply. I’ve definitely bought way, way cheaper alarm

I remember my IGN boards time so well. Being MODed was the pinnacle of life achievements at the time. It’s kind of sad looking back on it now.
