So they rename it every time they increase the 2nd decimal except whenever they don't? Your two exceptions disprove the rule, which is part of why we all think it's reasonable that it won't be renamed.

Valid complaint, but then I just back it up from my phone with Titanium and reinstall it onto the tablet. Requires that both be rooted, and it's nowhere near as easy as official support, but at least I'm not completely screwed.
And you'd be wrong by saying so. Further peer-review occurs after publishing, but if none occurred beforehand, the claim that a study was published in a "peer-reviewed journal" would be meaningless. It's the fact that it was published that's supposed to lend it SOME credibility. This is why journals get shredded for…
Does your Leatherman that does all of that and more cost $20 and get past the TSA? Boom: reason for it to exist.
And for those of us who prefer not to check bags?
And to the primary market buying one of these, how much is that going to matter? Is being made exclusively glass and aluminum, instead of glass a plastic, worth a $130 premium? It's not and never would be to me.
Nope, it's clearly a medical device. Bowties aren't made of blue foam with writing on them.
I think it has nothing to do with Gangnam Style itself and everything to do with the inherent flaw in this system that wasn't considered: many people use YouTube as a radio now, creating playlists of music videos and just setting them on auto. When you play via playlist, it's far more likely that you'll "watch" all…
The second bit completely threw off every person who read your comment. It was a major red herring and implied your objection was the belief that "titular" meant describing one's breasts. Sticking with the actual reason, or even mentioning it in any way, shape, or form, for your objection would have helped. The use in…
General advice before you correct someone's spelling or word usage on the Internet:
Yeah, it appears to be extremely low-level. Comparable to how holding the power button down on a PC for 8 seconds shuts it off regardless of what frozen state it's in.
Probably at least three, like any self-respecting geek who recognizes the need to charge and sync in more than one place. I keep a cable at my home desk, one next to my bed for charging at night, one at my office desk for charging at work, one in my car for charging while I drive, and one in my bag for charging in…
In my world. Where I like a phone with a large, clear, visible screen where I don't have to peck carefully to tap buttons and where I have plenty of real estate for maps, web pages, etc.
I think you're confused by the reply. Nexus phones' updates aren't provided by the manufacturer, they're provided by Google.
Wasn't every indication that the Surface RT will be running a Tegra 3? So how is this the first quad-core ARM Windows RT computer?
"...the most desperate dating site on the internet..."? How so? It's one of the best-designed, most intelligent, and best at using its data to reveal fascinating information. I'm not sure what's truly "desperate" about it. In my experience with it I've had mostly a complete lack of meaningful connections with anyone,…
This was my point: you don't actually need to do a battery pull to achieve what you're describing. Hold the power button for 8 seconds. Same effect. It's how I handle it on my Nexus 7, and once I learned that I tried it on my SGSII and it turns out the same works without needing to yank the cover off the device. So a…
You're correct. Your wording put me in a different perspective as I read it, and I believe I had the context of another conversation in mind when I crafted the reply.
StraightTalk SIM uses AT&T bands, so that's definitely one more-affordable option in the U.S. where you could use it.
I've never had that problem with the Nexus 7. Hold the power button for 8 seconds and it reboots, no matter what software state it's in. And trust me, I've had a LOT go wrong, especially with my initial unit that eventually died. So truly, it's a workable solution.
