And DropBox, and Google+, and other auto-uploading and social networking services that cut out all the fuss for Nikon to personally develop their own system.

I can count the number of "crashes" my Nexus 7 has had on one hand. A simple, well-developed tablet can bring major stability, and that's essentially what this would be. It's possible for that to be a non-issue.

Realistically it would be a tiny tablet with an amazing camera. And DropBox and Google+ both do the auto-upload thing from their apps already, and I imagine Nikon would, indeed, try to throw in their own version too. Sounds great.

I'm sure it'll be WiFi-only, so the carrier thing is irrelevant.

So don't install any apps, deal with the generally very-stable stock builds that come with devices, viruses are a non-issue, and stick with the standard configuring that comes with any digital camera. It's only as complicated as you want it to be.

Well yes, in that case the "incentive" being the privilege of keeping your job. Pretty much what I assumed. Same as Best Buy. Most of the desperation moves like the one in this article come from fear of job loss, not desire for a bonus.

What you quote very, very clearly states "without our permission" not, "ever." The limits, when reached, require the developer to get permission from Twitter to accept more user tokens. Period. There's nothing about that that says, "once you reach this limit, you will never, ever be allowed to add any more users."

Or be healthier when you do eat it, less or otherwise.

Yes. I can read. Where on earth in that sentence does he say Mac OS X is popular in Japan?

Because his own personal experience isn't what he was talking about in that section. He was describing why the game would be worth us considering, despite how little we likely play our Wiis anymore. It's artistic license. It's about writing a more interesting article than merely bullet points.

Nowhere in his comment did he so much as imply that OS X was popular in Japan.

:-O

It's funny, other people in other threads claimed that adding the word "the" in front of "most" was what was needed to PREVENT the comprehension error, and I argued it would have made no difference, and arguably might have accentuated the confusion. So it sounds like you backed up my assumption. It IS a tricky

Not to try to be confrontational, but to actually ask the question: what would you use, instead? It's pretty much the cliche for EVERYTHING that's barely used, not merely the Wii, so what alternatives can you think of to help spread out the options a bit?

Right... and again, what's your point? His sentence is still correct if read properly.

Really REALLY right, as long as you read what he wrote correctly.

Pretty sure he's really right. Assuming you read his sentence properly.

Your point is? He said the Mac OS is most popular in the US... over other countries. In other words, the US has the highest percentage of Mac OS users of all countries. He didn't say it's the most-used OS in the country.

Nope, you're just not reading properly.

Yes, it is the most popular in the US... versus other countries, which is clearly what he was saying. As in, it's more popular in the US than any other country. He definitely did NOT say it was the most popular OS in the US.
