Pics please.

You get that with Mustangs as well. Especially when you own a Shelby. Who here knew Ford's fastest car was a Crown Vic with a 460 cubic inch MOD motor Interceptor V8 in it? I certainly didnt!

I could maybe understand it if was a 780 Bertone, or a P1900 (look it up), or a PV444, but the single most produced Swedish automobile ever? Gimme a break, holmes.

What was even funnier about mine is that it was a 1985 Volvo 240 wagon, in silver. Also known as "One of the most common vehicles ever made".

just like the supra world, "I know a guy who knows a girl who fucked a guy who drove one if these once" so now I know all about supras

I think it's a common conception that every 80's bird is slow and boring.

Yep, "why didn't you get the manual" or "where is the other turbo" happens a bit for me. Neither exist.

The know-it-all, like the guys who tried to tell me they knew the previous owner of my Volvo despite the car having came from out of state and the owner was from Hawai'i.

Like the guys who constantly tell me I should've bought the turbo AWD model (there isn't one) instead.

This. I once had some clown tell my that my 1970 Wildcat could not possibly have a 455 under the hood and I in fact had a 430, because his daddy worked at a Buick dealership and HE (the guy arguing with me) knew absolutely EVERYTHING about post-war Buicks.

My tale of woe... owning a GMC Typhoon. "Dude, that's the truck with the supercharged GN engine." "What kind of body kit is that?" "What is this truck doing here with all the fast cars?" and my favorite "dude, I always wanted one of these... will you sell it? (I tell him "Sure! For 10k! to which they are always

I feel that pain too... lol. "Hey, sweet Monte!"

You just gave me a good idea for a plate for my car too!

man if i had a dollar for every one of those guys.....

Responded above but will throw in I previously owned TTA #861 (after my GN was stolen) and yeah it had the same problem.

Had an 87 GN back in 2000 and I can confirm this story. It was non effing stop with these guys. If I had a dollar........

definitely agree. Every "expert" has an uncle with the secret option twin turbo GN haha.

I do. Bond films are on a short list of ones I make a point to see in a theater.

Uhhhhhhh, did you sleep through the fact that the Daniel Craig bond movies are the highest grossing movies in the series? And some of the top ticket sellers of their respective years.

As a GN owner myself I can attest to that. Too many times someone has called my car a GNX, and then tried to carry on a conversation about the car thinking they know something about it. As soon as they called it a GNX though I had pretty much tuned them out.
