I played the game, loved the game, and didn’t end up minding the fan service-y outfits nearly as much as I thought I would. I actually ended up kind of enjoying that element of the game, which was really surprising.

I’m sure it’s possible for me to do everything on basically any platform, and I’m familiar with Windows and own a great Windows computer for gaming, but I’m not really interested in reworking my entire flow, to be honest.

Like a lot of web folks I’m half designer and half developer. I have a dedicated linux box if I need to do anything with a web server or compiling programming languages. Node.js doesn’t seem to matter much either way. The mac, for my workflow, just makes it easy to straddle the line between my dev and design tasks.

Personally, I use Macs because I can have Unix commands and Photoshop running on the same machine with no VMs, etc. Lots of good developer tools, as well. The aesthetics of the laptop have literally never mattered to me and I’d imagine a lot of other devs using Apple hardware fall into this same camp.
