Personally, I would get it just for the overall performance increase (if it exists). I’m one of those who usually end up with all three consoles (Sony, Nintendo and MS) by the end of the generation. Most of my friends are on XBL, and if the Series X is just faster all around than the current consoles then it would

Join the club, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

True, and I didn’t want to imply otherwise. Crunch has existed well before seasonal types of games were even an idea, but I would argue that we see and hear about it more because of these types of games.

The issue isn’t with games like COD or AC (which only releases a game every 2 years or so) or sports games. All of these are one and done deals, with some DLC sprinkled in.

I’ve never understood this argument. Parents and grandparents don’t wander into stores randomly looking for game consoles. Someone tells them exactly what they want, and they get that. Worst case, they ask the sales person what is the new console and they get what the sales person points out. This idea that there will

In what way have exclusives driven the industry forward?

No entertainment stand is going to catch fire from hot air. If this were the case people’s homes would have burned up long ago from things like amplifiers, receivers and cable boxes that can get even hotter than these consoles.

You can uninstall edge and you can uninstall Teams. In fact, MS makes both very easy on the enterprise front. So this is really a non issue.

Yeah fuck those workers!!

It’s not required. There’s literally a giant button in the admin center that says enable or disable Teams for your organization.

Hoping for something official from Microsoft designed to better attach to the phone.

There is no doubt that Gates’ comments are the good and right thing to say and do. However, it also must be noted that it’s ironic that he’s the one speaking out about this issue, considering Microsoft’s history of using its market power to crush competitors. Nonetheless, apparently using power and money to get ahead

That’s not even the biggest issue. This all assumes developers choose to use the built-in anti-cheat software. More than likely, developers would continue to use their own software, which could cause conflicts, etc.

This is the real reason I always believed the control panel is still around. Even some of Microsoft’s own apps are still in the control panel. Specifically the ConfigMgr and OpsMgr applets.

They already have...

judges are to interpret the law and not do anything like this at all. This judge is way off base and is not doing his job.

In today’s pissed-off society, doing that is dangerous.

Historically Sony has done this, but they also historically don’t give dates or time lines. At best you’ll get “Coming to PS5", but no indication when.

Another TSX owner here, there is no wood. Real or faux. The TSX dropped the wood accents when the beak started (08 I think?).
