The popularity of Gears was waning by the time this was sold, so selling it then was a smarter move than waiting for the value to decrease.

Exactly. I drank the “it’s so easy” kool-aid once in the past and made the mistake of convincing my friends to switch to PCs at one point. I even helped them build their rigs. Inevitably any time there was an issue I was the first person to call. And the issues ranged from hardware failure (which happens) to they

I also didn’t say that consoles were invincible. There are a number of cases where some games had issues running between XB1/XBX and PS4/Pro. I also didn’t say PC gaming was “harder” or “more complicated” than consoles. I said PCs are more prone to technical issues than consoles, and that’s true. Full stop.

As someone who bounces between all the consoles and the PC on a regular basis I’ll say this. PCs will always be superior in terms of power, but they will always be inferior when it comes to ease of use and stability. And you have the patience and/or knowledge to deal with that instability when it happens.

Either the passwords you’re using aren’t secure or they’re also compromised. Either way, 2FA will fix all of that.

Speed is the only reason. You can do this with current gen consoles because the drives in the consoles are significantly slower than what is planed for in next gen consoles. It’s also why you would see an improvement now by using an external drive with some games.

Where your thumbs land and how they feel after remaining there for a period of time are two different things.

HOAs are only as evil as their residents, since they’re the ones running it. Location matters too. Seems like the majority of these horror stories come from areas with a high retiree population.

Not defending him, but nothing he’s doing would really impact his brother (specifically) in a negative way.

Um, people who like Forza and don’t like Spider-man? I’m sure that demographic exists.

So, I guess I’ll be that guy and ask is the idea of someone owning both consoles a rarity these days? Seems like lately it’s not unusual that I meet or speak with someone who doesn’t own at least two (one being the switch) if not all three consoles from this generation.

The thing is, only the various Linux flavors are really doing anything good with interfaces these days.

That’s the norm unfortunately. The larger the company, the slower the updates become.

One of the biggest complaints this generation is load times, and an SSD solves that problem for the most part. Right now you can make a sandwich in the time it takes some games to load on both consoles.

“Only ones that meet the required spec.”

Are you serious? First, putting a gun to someone’s head and expecting good results after the fact is never a good idea.

you’re correct, but I think the OP means offer the service as a straight up VDI style solution. Where you’re given a full Windows desktop that has a GPU and you can install anything you want. If they did that, there is no way publishers could argue anything unless they plan on going after Amazon and Microsoft for AWS

Not all of the Hue bulbs will work directly with Echo devices, especially if your bulbs are from the v1 generation.

Why is the OP willfully a shit? For asking a simple question? A lot of us have lives that don’t include keeping track of the latest internet outrage.

Ok, they’re officially part-time employees with all of the basic protections and benefits that come with part-time status. Now what? Being classified as an employee doesn’t suddenly make you immune to viruses carried by passengers, so the message is still going to be the same.
