I haven’t watched in a couple seasons, but from what I remember, she *is* a very nasty drunk, but in a sort of weird way, in that it didn’t seem based on much reality. Like, she’d go after someone’s dead mother because that person swore, while also calling them a “fucking cunt” in the same rant, with no sense of irony.

Agreed. Dude’s been sober for years, and, if I recall correctly, since before he and Kristen Bell were together. You should be at a point where you’re (usually) ok with your partner recreationally using drugs by the time you enter a relationship, from what I understand about sobriety.
