I can turm off text notifications for a specific contact for a certain amount of time. If your phone allows that, maybe do that for 8-hour intervals and have a replacement activity for when you’re tempted to check if they’ve texted (e.g., check twitter, text a “sponsor” friend, knit a scarf).

Exactly. I don’t think he’s predatory, and I don’t *hate* him, but he seems vapid in some ways, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

It is, like, her thing though. She owns the thirst hard, which I respect, certainly more than the whole “oops, whoops, who’d think li’l ol’ me would get so much attention for this outrageous behavior?!”

“We’re a little past B now” is one of my fave lines of all time.

❤❤❤❤❤

I honestly read this *twice* as “this persona”, and I was like “well, weird, but appropriate.”

Thank God. Wasn’t there a rumor a month or so ago that they were going to stay together?

“If you want to know what God thinks of money, look at the people he gives it to.”

It really is. And so nonchalantly.

Once again confirming that Somewhat Girlish Looking And Strung Out is definitely a “type” for me.

Sometimes I just can’t bring myself to star a comment . . .

This reminds me that I really like the Scandal/Kimmel crossovers.

This is so unfair. Relationships are complicated and they fall apart all the time— because one person didn’t care enough or neither did or whatever other slew of reasons that I can’t comprehend if I’m not part of the relationship.

Thanks.

You fancy.

In the early 00s, there was an aim-related thing like this. Really easy workaround? Tell it you have a crush on everyone.

That was kind of the episode where I was like “K. We’re just doing the ‘weird’ thing now.”

Just, like, speaking of grandpas and presidents . . .

My grandpa was born in 1922 (a few months before The Great Gatsby was published); he voted in every Presidential election from when he was eligible in 1940 to the one before he died 2008. He served in WWII as an airplane radio operator in the Himalayas. He had to crash land a plane once— “I was shaking in my boots”,

Ok, but they’re also incredibly conservative and an entirely separate organization from Girl Scouts and they’re not going to “start following GSUSA’s lead”.
