I dunno; I tend to the think the actual intended audience for the letter is, well, us, more than the actual brass - I read it as more about putting even more external pressure on Activision, really. The point is in the how they got hugely successful. They’re fundamentally linked.

He helped create hugely successful games. He got rich. It’s not rocket science.

He was able to retire at 42 on the backs of those below him. As another commenter pointed out, he likely justified the millions he made at Blizzard because of his amazing leadership. These same leaders that simultaneously and mysteriously have “the privileges of not noticing what is happening” in their company.
