Interesting. I loved the way Dustforce controlled as well, plus the lovely graphics and chiptune music. But it got hard way too fast. Obviously I'm just not hardcore enough :P. But a shallower difficulty curve would've had me play much more of it.

Great to see Fez, hasn't been on many of the writers' top lists but it was easily one of my favourites of the year. The fact it seemed so simple to start with and ended up being so confusing with multiple layers of puzzles and secrets, was what made it such a joy to play. It was always holding a little something out…
I disagree, I love the fact there is a company out there dedicated to novel control methods. Wii Sports has provided a game that whole families can pick up and play easily, and I think that's pretty dang awesome. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd love a Zelda game for PC with amazing graphics, but equally I wouldn't…
Ah, just like Borderlands then. I enjoy the quirkiness and visual style, but they really can't carry a whole game full of grinding.
While I agree that is the case, surely there are better ways of making people use different weapons? In fact, surely people use different weapons out of personal choice, I wasn't aware any particular guns were 'the best'.
100% agree. While Patricia is doing a stellar job of being open minded, I think she was right the first time, and repetitive, meaningless actions are exactly the opposite of what paid entertainment should be. If you're into working then go do some DIY, don't for goodness sake kid yourself that paying to work to get a…
And there was me playing it with a flash cartridge, I just used the shoulder buttons :P. It didn't make it quite as challenging, but then again playing the real one in the UK was a royal faff given how overcast it is.
Okay, so that does make sense if you were to give separate awards for blockbuster games and small, indie games. But like I said, where's the line? How can it possibly be drawn? People spend different amounts of time playing games, do you count multiple playthroughs if it's a branching storyline? What about…
I agree, I have no idea what this game plays like, I've hardly seen any coverage on it at all!
I disagree, it's a subjective matter, and should be down to the person who nominates the game and judges the games. It's much less clearcut than with films and short films, as films have a fairly standard length of 1.5 to 2.5 (maybe 3 if it's long) hours, so short films are only going to be up to an hour long. Games…
You're right, most atheistic replies are hateful. But I think generally it's because a lot of people knee-jerk react very badly to someone selling a 'one true way' of life. And if they used to be Christian or have been around Christians, part of their reaction may be an impatience towards that which is already in…

If that were true, God would be a grossly unfair being in my opinion. Which I simply don't believe could be the case.
Are those names based on super heroes? First thing I thought when I saw Wayne and Stark was Batman and Iron Man.
To be honest, the aesthetics and bar in the corner remind me of Boktai more than anything else. Looks fantastic in any case :D.
Absolutely, they're some of my favourite games, hope you enjoy them :).
Oh, it seems like you're joking. If you are, then bravo you made me laugh :P. If not, then I think that demonstrates what I think of your point.
Who said? You?
I dunno, that could break the pacing. Although perhaps for the first couple of episodes a more exploratory tone would make sense, it did seem weird in the first couple of episodes of this series, while later on it made more sense when things had a sense of urgency.
Phoenix Wright is pretty damn good when it comes to translation! Obviously it's not Shakespeare, but it's tough to tell it's a translation IMO.
