Well, that was the thing though, it turned out these 'abilities' were observed from a physical viewing of the brain. Unless you consider the idea that learned behaviours could still change our brains physically. But either way, the trouble is you simply can't tell.

Just gonna take advantage of this comment and say ME TOO! Been looking forward to this all week, and 50,000 is a really tiny amount :|.

Yeah, I have that problem with apps, and it's why I've not been using them. I wonder how such a large bug got by through all the release builds (I'm on consumer preview still).

I want you to know that you are a twat. This comes from the whole depth and breadth of my being. I have put in the time and effort to discuss this with you, and you have not countered with anything that actually constitutes a logical argument, you have simply TOLD me I am wrong at every turn. You're one of those

Well, I don't know how you can know that, since how often are you in danger? It just seems like you don't want to actually look at the facts to be honest, since all you're doing is continually proclaiming you are right with no evidence.

I mean getting hard is a reflexive reaction to physical stimulation. It is nigh on impossible to mentally stop yourself from getting hard while physical stimulation is still happening. Which disproves your point that a woman couldn't get a man hard on demand to rape him.

This is an interesting example. I would counter that what matters is whether it is a majority of the group. My guess is the MAJORITY of females would prefer an easier mode to their male counterparts. However, the majority of men do not rape (although I acknowledge it is still a shocking number).

Interesting. I happen to have read a few stories online of men getting raped. In general they were either drunk or fooling around but didn't want to have sex. Besides, all it takes is physical stimulation to make you hard, before now a bumpy bus ride has given me a boner. I wasn't turned on as I certainly wasn't

The picture of Half-Life and 'Is Valve About To Announce..' really got my heart rate going. Damn you Kotaku!

I'm fairly sure I said what I thought in here:

I think you are right. Cheap Android handsets feel painful to use, the only reason I hold off buying an iPhone is that I already have an iPod Touch, and it costs a heck of a lot less than an iPhone.

I dislike Apple for ideological reasons, but my iPod Touch has made me fall in love with iOS. I still am resisting the iPhone because it is worse value than the iPod (which you have to admit is true), but using my Android 2.3 phone feels painful and ugly compared to iOS.

Well, true the community content is very awesome. But the vanilla content is great too, although tbf a lot of the newer maps were originally community created in some way.

'But since you assume gender roles are inert to video game genres, I assume you are looking forward to "stupid husband" mode in Cooking Mama? It only makes sense, of course.'

From the top of where exactly? Mount observation?

I thought that, but this is a 'Community' update. I suppose they could stretch that definition, but I kind of thought calling Big Picture Mode a Community update would be a little odd. But yeah, I'm equally excited whatever happens. Valve are also on GTTV later on in the week, so I'm wondering if they have anything

No, I think what you're talking about is simply behaviour that is very built-into humans. Language and culture will always drive how people behave in some 'negative' way and you can't honestly change that by writing blogposts. People say 'lads' are meant to like football and that you're not manly if you don't go to

Absolutely agree. People seem to just enjoy getting offended by things. I wonder what the psychology is behind that. Does it make people feel more in control of their surroundings if they can tell people what is 'out of order'?

Yeah, majorly hoping for that too. I will scream with orgasmic pleasure if it is released this week.

I really want Big Picture mode to crop up, but since it's a community update I can't be sure...
