Completely honestly? I'm still finding it difficult to justify picking up an Android tablet, when the app selection and quality is so much higher on iOS. I really want a cheap tablet with an open, customisable platform. But a tablet is only as strong as its content :/.

This is exactly my problem with the new Dashboard, I can't believe people have tried to defend it. It was very obviously designed with adverts specifically in mind, and reeks of Microsoft milking every little penny out of its consumers.

Same, but if you can make it fun to play around with it, then you'll be happy to invest time into it and learn lots of stuff :). Only thing stopping me at the moment is the 10GB download and my family home's godawful internet speeds.

Well, the screen is bigger than an iPad's and any Android device out there isn't it? There isn't really a way round that problem if you want it to stay portable and usable as a tablet.

True story, except as long as it's not insane, I really don't mind what the price is. I don't have a half-decent laptop (it's second hand), so it would be a 'laptop' and tablet device for me. Basically everything I could need outside of my desktop and phone. Only issue is, I wouldn't particularly want to take it…
