Oops, I never thought about the friendly context. I think that's simply due to women stereotypically taking secretarial responsibilities and having better people skills, therefore possibly seeming more caring and empathetic. Definitely a bonus for some kind of assistant as far as I can think.

Couldn't agree more aha, it really requires some effort to get offended by a range of things, but people do manage!

I know this will come off as sexist, but straight up I'm gonna say I have this feeling it's because while a lot of men through history/legend have been evil or manipulative, more often than not manipulative women are painted as incredibly intelligent, cold and calculating. There's something altogether more scary about

Mine too.

Windows Search is awful, glad it's being improved by Windows 8. Just use Everything atm.

Rich and nuanced. I think I'd beg to differ...

I knew what it was, but I watched anyway because I missed Rick.

Got a similarish upgrade myself, but mainly because my video card was crapping out on me and throwing up lots of errors and problems, while my CPU is weak and constantly overheats. Of course, getting a new CPU meant getting a new mobo, and on top of that I needed DDR3 RAM to replace my DDR2 since new mobo's don't take

Well I'd say Kotaku's readership tends to be of higher quality than any gaming site I've ever known of. But people will always have different opinions (even stupid ones). Try not to lose faith in humanity just yet, as hard as it is :P. So yeah, this community is still of relatively high quality, just pick out the

Yeah, it's hard to fault somewhere for that, you've just got to try to appeal to the sensibilities of the journalists here. On the business end, it's about getting more views and making money, on the individual scale people will care about how their content is received. Since Kotaku only has a few writers (that from

Ah, I'm totally with you on this. I understand the idea of 'don't click on it if you don't want to read it', but I agree this is a haven away from depressing news such as this, and I don't want to read something like this (even the title of it to be completely honest - because that sums up the news). I know it is

Bit of a late reply ofc, but I can't help being absolutely terrified of performing in any capacity in front of people. There have been times when I've been shaking and felt sick beforehand, and you're right, it is the idea that it can so easily go wrong and everyone is watching even the slightest flicker of life in my

Shiny chin is shiny. Looks like he just ate a bucket of fried chicken or something equally greasy.

I know right, I ordered that last night along with a few new parts :), looking forward to it now.

This happened to me with iOS4, sucks big time. They should put a warning and check there's enough space before you update, it's poor form.

Facebook Messenger? Coupled with enabling texts via messages?

I thought the iPod Touch usually got upgraded a few months after? I have an iTouch 4 and remember waiting for it to get announced after seeing the iPhone 4 get announced. Maybe check what happened last year online. Still, another one of Apple's artificial incentives to shepherd us iPod Touch users onto the iPhone.

Also, I nearly forgot because I enabled it before my device died, and then lost where it was in the settings.

Nuh-uh, you can sync Google Contacts through Wi-Fi, you just have to set it up with your mail and calendar, you've been able to for a long time. Funnily enough, Googling will provide a page by Google itself explaining step-by-step how to achieve this :P. It's because the newer 'GMail' button introduced with iOS4

Also some things I've noted (some are very useful) and I'm surprised haven't been mentioned:
