Policing is a difficult, dangerous job”

“On the one hand, there’s the old adage that if you have nothing to hide you should just comply” consider this... say you bought the vehicle used and never checked the spare tire compartment under the mat in the trunk cause you never had reason to esp cause the previous owner told you there was no spare tire back there

I would love, just once, when these abjectly stupid arguments are presented, for a journalist or judge or whoever to just take a moment of silence, take a deep breath, and ask the person, “Do you think I’m stupid?”

“rather than present ANY PLAN or urgency to address the nationwide baby formula crisis”

I grew up around regular, not Canada, geese, and those bastards will chase you down just for being anywhere around where they are at the moment.

How to fight a goose and win: Don’t fight a goose.

That’s a great way to turn a great knife into a mediocre knife.

Step 1: Grab goose by neck, directly behind head. Act deliberatively, like you would to grab a crayfish or a frog

LOL! Have you been paying attention to how Republicans operate? As soon as they take over the senate they’re getting rid of the filibuster to keep Dems from doing to them what they’ve been doing for years now.

Also, the fact that the joke is being made during a formula shortage is irrelevant. Those two things aren’t correlated in any way other than the fact that they both tangentially involve babies. You could have made the article about how it was a dumb joke that was believable because of their product history, which is

Did they get rid of the filibuster?

Wake up black Floridians. They continue to try and take your rights. Get out and vote these idiots out of your government. And then do it again every election.

This is the Faux News-fed GOP, so the criminal act would be defined as NOT being pregnant once every 18 months.

he didn’t fill in at all, his dad Charles did

didn’t Prince William fill in for his “grandmom”, not his “mom”?

Where was all this “privacy” energy when GQP adherents were protesting in front of Gretchen Whitmer’s house?  Yeah, fuck conservative politicians and justices who think there won’t be consequences to rolling back rights and freedoms for anyone who’s not a rich, straight, white, Christian male or a corporation.

Agreed. At worst it was clumsily expressed, and he could have been a bit better in how he worded it, but I didn’t sense he was being a racist at that point. If anything I thought he was reaching out to other white people to explain something he was ashamed of and that other whites should be ashamed of.

LOVE how the writer talks about white arrogance illustrated by a script written by a black man.

Donald Glover wrote this episode, no? So wasn’t he just reading lines that someone else wrote, rather than “address” the issue? Not giving Neeson a pass, but this was a role with a script and a director.
