It really is. The quality of the writing continues to drop each week, and I honestly have no fucking clue why I keep coming here expecting anything else... as though I haven’t been watching the slow motion train wreck for the last 5 years.

I’m not a beach person because I’m not a people person... and by that I mean I don’t enjoy being around the general public because they are, on average, intolerable heathens with no consideration for those around them or the planet we share.

I’m not sure what you’re reading, but I didn’t call her a centrist.  I said she’s trying to walk a centrists path, and it’s a pointless endeavor because she’s not and that’s not what voters want anyway.

She’s just trying to walk a centrists path because she knows she’s not getting elected as a Republican again. My guess is she’s going to try to run independent in the future, and this is part of her making a case that she’s not part of either party blah blah blah.

Mark my words... if/when the Republicans take both houses, Manchin will absolutely vote to eliminate the filibuster for Republicans.

It is incredibly naïve to believe that the filibuster will remain if the GOP takes both houses.  They will remove it as soon as it doesn’t suit them.

I really don’t see how the Supreme Court is supposed to survive this, particularly with the fascists giving ‘let them eat cake’ responses to stripping away fundamental rights.

Unprovoked violence is wrong. Violence in defense of your freedom is as righteous as righteous gets. Violence against oppression is practically mandatory if you want to be successful.
