you're actually the one that's being whiny and nit-picky. take your photo snobbery elsewhere. are you happy that you have been able to show off your vast superior photo knowledge. please belittle people some more, it makes you look very small.
I disagree. HDR, when done well, is extremely valuable in architecture/interior/construction photos. As a photographer myself, I commend the use of HDR here. Allows for more detail to be captured in downright challenging lighting conditions. I'd much rather use subtle HDR than flashes and strobes in this type of…
Agreed - I do quite a bit of HDR and, like a lot of people who play with the process, you start out drastically overcooking the shots and progressively learn how to walk it back until its much more natural. Photomatix has evolved too, and the newer versions have helped get you into the subtler gradations faster and…
I don't think it's that bad. Honestly this is what HDR is meant for, bringing out the dark and light areas of the scene in one image. Now, if the photographer using HDR to make flowers look like radioactive super-flowers from Mars (that glow)...then we have a problem.
I know what you mean, but you should distinguish between purposely unrealistic (or poorly executed) HDR processing versus realistic HDR imaging meant to simulate human vision. The latter is far more subtle, I think.

In comic books there are images so it's hard to interpret the character as different than the image but in novels I find that, as a white guy, I just assume the protagonists are white unless I'm explicitly told otherwise. I just assumed I do this…
New reality show idea... "Shock a Russian!" Candid camera style. If you can do something that will get any sort of vocal or physical reaction out of a Russian, you win $10,000. Given that nobody gives a shit weather it's this bashing in of the windshield comedy routine or flaming balls of fire falling from outer…
