@Pirandello: Really? It's always the one thing that annoys me so much and is so unrealistic about them. I kinda wish I never knew that though. Ruins the illusion and ticks me off.

It's probably gonna be a Nokia with a Blackberry styled qwerty with a nextel push to talk that allows you to sideload apps and multitask and it will boast that you can make calls without a bumper on it.

@Kayno: Again, those videos only show bars going down, they don't show people losing reception or dropping calls. Signal attenuation is different from signal de-tuning by coming into direct contact with the antenna.

@Edgy: From having both Sprint for work and Verizon for personal use, not only has the Sprint network gained so much ground on Verizon in coverage, it has suprassed it in many places. Obviously, this only applies to my state, but your illustration of Sprint being a pig really only applies to your personal experience

So...what about couches?

@tech-no: I'd be interested in what that'd look like. I hate the chromed out metal on the touch and iPhones.

@cwestwell: Meh, my Droid Incredible was super plasticky. Felt cheap.

I find it kind of disturbing how many people are suggesting this kid "burn in hell" etc. This doesn't necessarily make you sound much more sane or a better person than him.

@Calvin Embleton: No, you don't have the right to act whatever way you want. This is why we have laws.

It sounds like all of these cell phone companies are kind of in denial of some sort over attenuation issues. Although Apple has admitted to having attenuation issues, they are refusing to acknowledge that theirs is pretty unique, especially after the hoopla over how unique the design of the antenna is. Now they are

@andrelix: As an Android lover, I'd even include the Droid. That thing was pretty plasticky and the design kinda clunky. But I wouldn't go as far as to say that they are lucky to be around.

Now you need to make an article about how the trackpad looks like this kitchen scale.

I like the idea of improving on what you already own. I love modifying old stuff to make it brand new again. Isn't that better than throwing out good design to sit in a landfill forever?

@CaptainJack: I think for myself, pixel density is a bigger issue. I wish they'd release the numbers on that.

@CIM: You can do that on an Android phone too. So what. I don't understand how a widget looks like chaos to you? By that standard, you must have a hard time leaving your house...or opening your eyes.

@SkelatorDan: It was made to the specifications of each carrier.

@MayorBloomberg: I think what he was saying didn't have much to do with the article itself, it was just an explanation of a lack of security measures in OSX.

@breadofwonder: I think the marketplace for Android will really benefit from froyo. One of the issues with it currently is the lack of censorship for ads in a lot of the apps, so you end up with apps with ads for adult websites. Froyo will hopefully, and is claiming it'll help clean it up.

@breadofwonder: I have the same hopes for a Nexus Two as you.
