Mostly not. To some furries it doesn’t extend any further conceptually than what some cultures would call a spirit animal.

Most people only get exposed to it via the fetish of it without realizing that’s not what it is.

I think they do this for the same reason skinheads and cornrows are unreasonably popular in character creators.
It’s much easier to animate than the alternatives.

Stealth game?

Urgh! This is a joke.

There’s a couple of places they come from.

I thought/worried the same but then noticed that some of the old ones are still in the old destinations.

Play the Arkham games on a higher difficulty and it drops the prompts.

I referred to a metronome more figuratively than literally but i personally found when you got the hang of the combat as was necessary to complete the combat challenges for platinum there was a rhythm of sorts to it. Admitedly some enemy types break the rhythm but that just puts them up the priority-takedown-list.

Loved the game and platinum’d it but it’s ALL for the story and the swinging.

What i don’t get is why people think a Spiderman that has been operating for what I believe is almost a decade in this game would only NOW be addressing “cop-problems”.

Disagree, the characters look awesome in the game and the article is about working creatively around a challenge.

It’s what helps make the game accessible.
Their are stats that differ between characters that give them a different feel and the weapons+signature moves they have makes the difference but their core animations/moves are the same.

Imo the familiarity between characters is a pro, not a con.

I’m not sure what other way there could be to communicate what is behind you.
Often games will have you playing as characters with super-sensory abilities, incredibly good planning or just ears that should allow them to be aware of their surroundings in a way that is not inherently possible to communicate to the
