I felt like this was downplaying how big a deal it is for an actor to be a series for FOUR YEARS. When a show lasts, it’s a triumph. If you are lucky enough to be on that show for more than one season, you’ve won the lottery. He may have only five credits in five years (which depending on his rate is still good), but

Yes! I was crushed when Nine-Nine wouldn’t let Samberg keep doing Cuckoo—but Lautner was a delight. There is every bit a chance that the kid who originally didn’t want to do film and wanted to stick with sports, did film, and found the insanity surrounding Twilight an utterly miserable experience—one he wouldn’t want

The more intrusive and all-consuming the fame machine gets, the more I wonder why more people don’t just do what he did and take the money and run. It doesn’t sound like he was ever very passionate about acting, so why subject himself to the level of scrutiny that comes with fame in 2020?

…as a young person trying to figure out his sexual identity in the world.

Yeah, I think his dream scenario would have been the exact opposite of what actually happened - if he had won the popular vote and lost the Electoral College, he would have been going around telling everyone how the people wanted him to be President but the corrupt evil Democrats cheated him out of it. Then he

Ive voted by mail in washington for almost 15 years now and lived at approximately 5 addresses during that time. I have never received a ballot with anyone elses name on it.

Man this is an even sexier fantasy than that dream I had where Captain Malcolm Reynolds and I were stuck alone on Serenity for months. Please carry on.

Because it bears repeating, there is no mechanism, legal or otherwise, for Trump to postpone or call off the election.

The fact that multiple states already vote by mail exclusively and don’t have any fraud issues is obviously beside the point.

expect Trump’s opinion on the practice—or the legitimacy of the election entirely—to be dictated by whether he wins or loses.

Um, you say that, but if he doesn't recognize the young blonde woman as his daughter, there's like an 800 percent chance he tries to grab her ass at some point. Wouldn't wish that on anyone, even a Trump.

How dare you and you’re lucky that we actually put clothes on

PSA for almost every single employee: your company is not a ‘family,’ even if management likes to say that it is, and they won’t treat you as such when the chips are down. I tell this to my younger team members when necessary: the company looks out for itself, and you should look out for yourself. This isn’t bad, it

Every movie just feels more epic when it’s on a giant screen, even if it’s a really bad film or just a simple romantic comedy. Watching it at home, unless you have an actual projector movie theater setup in your house, just doesn’t feel the same at all.

Agreed. It has always been one of my favorite things to do. I live in a hot, sunny climate that depresses me in the summer so a cold dark movie theater is a refuge.

I feel the same. I always see people bragging about how they have such a great setup at home that they don’t need to go to a theater, but for me, it’s that I NEED a reason to occasionally leave my house for something that is purely entertainment, and movies are the best year long way to do that.  I like the experience

100% agreed. There’s a theater about 2 miles from me, and I love walking down there, getting a can of wine and a box of candy from the store next door, and going to see a movie by myself. I’m not a huge “movie” person, but the point of it is to get out of the house and watch it on a giant screen. I don’t want a setup

I really miss going to the theater. Good popcorn, a regular soda, phone off, no distractions, and a movie I’ve never seen.

Finally, we can enforce the “there are empty seats fucking everywhere, why did you have to sit directly in front of me?” mandate.

It wasn’t intended no but the fact it works so well as one doesn’t and shouldn’t stop people using it as that.
