GTA Online has you covered, as you can create a female character on there. By the looks of things, it seems the online portion will also have its own "story missions" as well.

You know I'm a UI geek when the first thing that amazes me about this review was the screenshot of that stats screen. The semi transparent background, the soft colors, clean font...looks so good. Can't wait to get my hands on that!
