Why is Nintendo and Sony so bent on making a remake of a handheld for so long? Why the PSP 1000, 2000, 3000, PSP Go? And do we really need a Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSiXL? Isn't one handheld sufficient and THEN focus on the next big handheld system without rehashes?

If you look at the preorder bonus for the War Horse from Red Dead Redemption on Ebay they are selling them for 40 dollars which is ridiculous.
