There are Phoenix downs, but VERY rare.

AFAIK, the "permadeath" is just per mission. They revive when you return to school. I'm assuming there's a way to revive but it could get costly and you're better off just planning ahead.

It's people like you that enable him to make more shitty movies. Those budgets could be spent on some struggling script writer's excellent original idea. He needs to lose money on every movie he makes for this absolute garbage to stop.
