IMO them not putting first party titles on PS Plus day one says they don’t believe PS Plus day one releases add value for the publisher.  If I was a publisher I would read their actions as saying I should also never release anything I expect to sell even moderately well on PS Plus until sales have died off.

That’s a fair assessment, I think. It would’ve been a much bigger white flag if they felt they needed to hemorrhage money to subsidize the service by losing the sales revenue generated by big-name titles like the ones Batista Thumbs Up lists.

And I don’t blame them, personally. Looking at the sales of stuff like Horizon, GoW, Spider-Man, etc., if people are buying them at retail price by the vault-load, no reason to kneecap yourself.

the thing that sucks is that the game actually is fun and this massively disproportionate reaction is going make it harder and take longer for devs to actually push out updates and new content
