Not so much a question but...my youngest son is the pickiest eater ever. He hates chicken, mac & cheese, every vegetable, every fish, every meat. But he devours deviled eggs. It’s so freakin’ weird. He’s 10 and I’ve started to teach him to cook. The first thing he wanted to learn? Deviled eggs. WEIRD.

I love you very much and I have since you were 21 inches long, or 27. I don’t know, you were short.

I’m 40 and find this to be an amazing time to be alive. I got to cast a vote for the first African American president and I will be casting a vote for the (hopefully) first female president. It IS amazing and I’m grateful for it. My kids will grow up without that sense of amazement in what that means.

You deserve every star (and maybe a Pulitzer) for this.

LOVE Sherrod Brown. He’s said that he will not accept the nomination. I don’t know if that’s just the standard political thing to say or if it’s true. His wife has also stated publicly he would not run as VP. I’d like to see him stay in the Senate personally.

I agree. I love Jezebel with a big smooshy heart but the way they write about my age group (I’m 40) just makes me feel...bad. We’re not all stupid, we understand and embrace technology and dear lord do we love us some pop culture and politics.

When my twins were little I bought those leash things. They were great for about 10 minutes until my son learned how to get it off. And then showed his sister how to do it. Uggggh.
