Mystic Quest was actually pretty fun for what it was. It really distills the Final Fantasy experience down to a fun little game that has some surprisingly amazing music.

Yeah, that one in particular is pretty awesome.

Why controller support? Why? I don't understand. You have a perfectly good keyboard and mouse attached to that computer. There are other platforms with much better controller support in general, why not use them?
