Hours and hours of:

Cold blooded.

Drove yesterday from Orange County up into Northern Los Angeles. Went up the 5 freeway and the smoke was pretty thick in that area, despite the distance. Ash was falling like snow.

Tried this a while back. The water was gross within a day and needed to be changed out to keep it from having a rancid odor, so I started swapping water daily. Scallions still grew, but were less flavorful and, in some cases, tasted a bit odd, probably because of the water issue mentioned above.

Beat me to it. Exactly my thought.

That's the thing. The USA would be red, but it's not, basically because of Alaska and some pockets of emptiness in the Western United States.

There is if you put it there.

It won't be you. It will be a copy of you. What you've just said even supports this. Consciousness isn't something that can simply be ignored. It IS a part of the equation. If all you are is a machine with data in it, then your current conscious state is literally all you've got.

Guy gets hit by the "4,000-volt 60-cycle line" and then "worked the rest of the afternoon".

True. Anyone who watches Japanese Anime has already learned the harsh, horrifying reality of this dilemma. Or anyone who has actually sat down and thought about the whole idea of uploading yourself to a computer.

Just got Plex Pass and Plex setup on my NAS over the weekend. I was blown away. One app to watch all my stuff, basically, on just about any device I'd care to. Very cool.

I was starting to feel like Chromecast was really lagging, but I got PLEX setup over the break to run on my NAS and holy crap does it make the Chromecast a powerful device.

haha, that would be great. Just have markers on the record to indicate the starts of new levels.

I'm curious how the audio design is going to be like. Has the potential to be a bit grating, but you really want it to have that throwback, scratchy vinyl sound the whole way through just to complete the experience. Hope they find a perfect solution!

Dropbox is great for creating a folder full of photos, right-clicking on that folder and copying the share link, and sending that link to people for read-only access to a large group of photos (just make sure the folder isn't public). The web interface allows them to easily browse through pictures and even provides an

Dang it, I wish it were not so! I'll probably end up picking it up eventually, as I'd probably still get a kick out of the crossover stuff. But man, I hate stories written to try and force something like a crossover come together, and I take it that's basically what they did.

Runner 2 is on sale on steam right now, so I'm definitely going to pick it up. $2.50 is pretty hard to pass up.

I'm not saying they intend to manufacture the phones, but to specifically find phones they can deploy their software on officially. Likely will continue as a partnership kind of thing with actual manufacturers.
