Yup, so if you're the kind of gamer that doesn't like having their dog shot at random, then don't play Day Z :P

Without any system to prevent it, it can only be expected :P That's just the nature of a game like Day Z.

I thought that Day Z's appeal was the fact that people are going to attack each other in a struggle of resources and survival. If the guy is going to steal your stuff, he sure as crap isn't going to leave the dog alive.

wat?

So is there anything like this in current iPhone UIs?

I've always liked how the current headphone jack keeps more of the physical buttons of the phone accessible. With earbuds how they are, now, I suppose that's not a big an issue, and it's probably just something few people care about.

What is the deal with the headphone jack? Putting it on the bottom just seems backwards, and is enough to make me doubt the legitimacy of this thing...

Yeah, I know some people like the swivel screens. I just don't see the appeal. I've used cameras with them and they stay tucked away.

"So if you're really serious about learning photography—like so serious that you're already dreaming of upgrading to a pro DSLR one day—you could consider the T4i. But even then, to get the best value, you might as well go for the T3i."

It makes me wonder if they won't release their Metro App Store (or whatever it's called) and port over a ton of the Kinect games that they currently have for the 360 and make them available to users who have the Kinect connected and installed.

It's unlikely that anything Microsoft is doing will really make things easier for anyone who wants to emulate the 360 on Windows. Unless, of course, Microsoft creates a way to emulate 360 stuff and someone cracks and distributes the method. :P

So... do these people have to also be Netflix subscribers to get the compensation? :P

I think it is interesting to note that, despite what people have been saying for years, there is no difference between the nutrients. I always HATED hearing people say, "Oh yeah, fresh produce from a truly organic farm is more nutritious because it hasn't been sitting around as long." At the very least, thank goodness

One of the important things to consider, especially during the summer, is how hot the computer will get while remaining on overnight?

It's like we're in a time of transition. I want to spend my money on the things I use. I don't feel right just using it and feeling like other people should carry the financial burden for me (which is ultimately what happens). But it really is a huge PAIN how much things are a bit of a mess right now.

I played a fair amount of Sacred, but I never touched Sacred 2. Was it any good?

Wow, it is KILLING me that I'm not in Seattle right now!

And because of this, you needed quick reaction times. I LOVED the feeling of really having to be quick to react in F-Zero. Plus, you had to actually use your break strategically, which is essential for a good racer.

Yeah, these days it does. But back then, it really was huge. It made for some pretty dynamic effects in games that Sega's offerings couldn't match.
