Considering that a good portion of the work has to do with aspects of the game that don't have to do with the visual aspect of everything, they might give it a touch of visual overhaul before the final release, once all the rest of the work is complete. But I don't know that I'm waiting for that, I just think it's…
The level of trollception is high with this one...
Yeah, it does seem like some of the titles that we've come to expect the feature from have started dropping it. I have hope that things will improve in the future, but probably only if enough people start requesting that local co-op become more common.
"Because the fact is that Apple's court triumph will drive innovation, not stifle it. Steve Jobs' ultimate afterlife victory will drive prices down, not up. It will give us, the consumer, more options not less."
So much about the whole Apple vs Samsung case has left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. I'm not a huge Samsung fan (I've used one of their phones for a while, and had poor performance out of it until I rooted and modified it pretty heavily), but it seems like so much of the public has certain preconceived notions of…
Yeah, and at least it gold in that movie was called GOLD, and not something like... [insertwordthatindicatesscarcityhere]anium.
Meh, no worries. It happens ^_^
Yeah, that would be incredible! I know that Valve would likely meet resistance from the IP owners, publishers, and some of the devs of the games that are sold on Steam, but I think they could really tool it so that it wouldn't really have room to be exploited.
Yes, absolutely. We played through that one and had a lot of fun. There are several LotR hack and slash games we've enjoyed, and this was going to be another title to continue that tradition. We were really excited about it! But then, as soon as we saw we needed two copies and would have to play on separate computers…
Yeah, I know what you mean. For most of my games at home, the ability to sit back and let someone else play is awesome. But at times, it's nice to be able to play a different game at the same time as family members. So, yeah, DRM again causing issues for someone who is a legitimate user.
Yeah, we try that, though I have to say Offline mode is a bit of a pain. My wife HATES it, and she hates not having her games synced to cloud, achievements tracked, her time in-game, etc. There are quite a few games that only she plays, and I wish I could migrate those to another account to at least guarantee that…
Yeah, that's absolutely true. Most of the time.
Here is an example of how the black and white example of "You can't share a game you're already playing" isn't broad enough for the problem people are having:
I have been facing this problem for quite a while. Anybody who finds themselves with a relationship as simple as room mates all the way to dedicated partners will find that this causes a problem far too often, and the solution is all too often to sigh and say "Oh well".
I absolutely agree that Earthbound is not the best game ever. I won't argue with that. But there is a lot that I think you're not looking into.
Wow, that is slick! I can only imagine the awesome stuff you could use that with, even today.
"Square Enix will make lots of money?"
I like the idea as denying being used as part of the balance scheme, but I think you could create the same balance with other approaches. Adjusting the cost of items, adjusting the strength of carries, etc etc. I never had a problem with denying. I mean, even in LoL you have to pay attention and get your timing right…
I've had the problem before where XBMCFlicks doesn't list my whole instant queue. And then, when trying to play things, it fails pretty often. OR, I've had times where I get it all setup, and then a month later something about Netflix changes slightly, and XBMCFlicks breaks. It's felt too much like it is built off of…
