Is this a race thing, or more of a celebrity-culture (as in, the rarified air that only celebrities breathe) thing? Because he sounds as delusional and out-of-touch as Gwyneth Paltrow, just with a teeny-tiny different angle.

That was what I was told by an Icelandic gal I went to school with, and later worked with. She and her sister were raised in Iceland, and emigrated to the U.S. when they were young adults. Is that not true, then?

You're right about most of it, except the accent. It's not so much sexy as...cute. Very, very cute. (Icelanders speak Old Norwegian. It's charming as hell.)

What scares me is how little they're aware of how widespread it was, both sides of the border! The Canadian gov't perpetrated such incredible (and RECENT) horrors, too.

Um, last I checked? Texas, for the most part, does not appear to care that much about Federal law. The silly-ass "secede" crap still appears to be holding sway. I love that they're making Idaho look just ever-so-barely better, but...still sad.

Um. Looks to me like every other suit worn by every other bureaucrat, up to and including every vice principal ever. So. As POTUS, the job's just about the same...why is this a problem...?

Nowadays the hats can be black or white- the governor of Idaho frequently makes ads/TV and media appearances in a black cowboy hat. God, I hate rom-coms. Like, seriously LOATHE them. Maybe this is unfeminine or whatever, but...MORE EXPLOSIONS, please! And tractor-pulls. Tractor-pulls are so, so underrated in today's television programming. :)
