Unfortunately, the 488 with the 3.8L TT V8 breaks Ferrari’s tradition of its name referring to the engine displacement.

True. The local community college near me borders a country club, so you’re not hard-pressed to see Maseratis, Bentleys, Ferraris, etc. near the campus, but they aren’t [always] student cars.
I’ve said it before but the wrong Chris is hosting. Harris has the personality to host the show. He may not be as naturally “funny” (though that is subjective) as Clarkson, but he’s interesting and intelligent - a strong ambassador to the automotive world.
I saw a wrecked previous gen Mustang on a flatbed yesterday too. Oh well...
I have a hard time believing the ‘Vette will ditch the FR layout completely. At $80,000, the ‘Vette is no longer in the same category (which might be the point after all). I wish they would build the FR and MR Vettes side-by-side.
Doesn’t appear to be the same car, but another owner’s IG shows this wasn’t the only LaF incident yesterday.
True. I own a C4 and plan on moving up to a C5 Z06 (and probably a C6 Z06 eventually), but you won’t see me bringing my cars to shows with “stereotypical” Vette owners (for the most part - it’s a great place to buy/sell cars and parts). I buy cars that look good, sound good and drive well. For every price point,…
Sorry, that’s still ridiculous. They completed more laps than the 3rd place car, thus they should have claimed 2nd place. LeMans has a lot of bizarre rules.
There’s a “Toyota — Moving Forward” joke somewhere in there.
Not necessarily. A lot of 456/612/FF/GTC4 buyers aren’t buying them to *not* buy a 360-488; they’re buying it in addition. These are the guys trying to kiss up to their dealer and to Ferrari in order to get cars like the Speciale, TDF and even LaFerrari.
It switched to LeMans at 11.
FS2 isn’t showing LeMans... am I missing something?
Honestly, prospective Centenario buyers don’t care. They either already have one or more of those cars or they simply collect Lambos (I know one of each).
Chris Harris should be the host and car review guy for TG. Let the others be the silly ones, but Chris should run the show, literally.
I would love to see a street legal Vulcan - I think they could sell those as “halo cars.” Aston probably sees how Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche have had massive success with their hypercars.
Meh, it won’t have a V12 or pop-up headlights, so meh.
If it were him, I’d imagine he would be very public about it. He’s in public eye all the time anyway. It’s more likely a low key collector.
I admittedly did not watch it last night but there was so much hype surrounding the first episode with the new crew that I’d be surprised if they were at 4+ million viewers by the end of the series.
If you’re commissioning a one-off like this, you’re high on Ferrari’s list, which means you already have a collection. A LaFerrari owner must have five (give or take) new Ferraris already, so I’d assume anyone ordering a one-off has an even more extensive collection.
