I’d bet they’ll build a “Zora” or ZR1 with 1000hp for under $150k.
That’s why many chases get called off but what if letting the suspect go is even more dangerous? What if he/she carjacks someone, is armed, or is holding someone hostage?
Bring him to Jersey and have him coach John Q!
Taxation is theft. Taxation on second-hand purchases is larceny to the next extreme.
If I’m buying/leasing a brand new car so I don’t want to worry about a) potential safety issues, b) convenience of having my car fail at any given time and c) the annoyance of having my brand new car back and forth to the dealer regularly.
You need to patent this!
This isn’t the halo car. There will be multiple iterations of the C8, eventually including the flagship Zora in a couple years. This isn’t that car.
One of the funniest and most down to earth guys out there.
Horacio has been printing money with these cars for years (I assume). When the Zonda Cinque stickered at $1M back in ~ 2011, everyone thought that was insane. Then the 760s were rumored to run around $2.5-3M and allegedly the later one-offs were up to $5-6M. It never ends apparently. Until now...maybe. But hey, a…
I was fortunate enough to gain at least minimal experience driving manual on a friend’s car. My first “real” drive in a stick car was picking up my C4 Corvette. I remember sitting in the seller’s driveway thinking “please don’t stall, please don’t stall!” I stalled four times on the 100 mile drive home but it was a…
Well the Zora Corvette should be debuting in January ‘19 at Detroit so I imagine the Cadillac would be unveiled shortly after... unless the Zora IS a Caddy...
I thought I remember one of the three saying GT would have a five year run. I wouldn’t be surprised. I also thought Season 2 of GT was much better then Season 1.
I don’t have any photos, but I’ve been to an abandoned garage in Newark, NJ that featured a couple solid axle Corvettes, Ford Model Ts, original Maserati Ghibli, Lamborghini Miura among others. I hope the cars get saved soon enough.
This shouldn’t be a surprise. Have you seen all the people that drive from Montana to every cars and coffee?!?!
Looks like a modern MC12 from the front 3/4. Not sure if that’s good or bad.
Who knows if there will be a future Viper (like the NSX, Camaro, etc.). What we all but know is that there will never be another 8.4L V10 in any hypothetical future Vipers.
“They’re in the glove box!”
I actually saw a Ford GT at a car show years ago towing its own racing slicks. I probably have pics on an old laptop...
Problem with NY 17, Palisades, Taconic and many others that don’t suck is they are extremely well patrolled.
