I must say, I’ve actually hosted some less formal single-day rallies and people don’t realize how much time and money it costs to properly put on a rally. The Gumballers, of course, are basically on a $40,000 party for a week though.

It costs somewhere in the vicinity of $40,000 to be an attendee on the Gumball 3000... fun fact!
Perhaps tire companies are already testing colored tires but are camouflaging them black...
Honda: using the NSX to out-Ferrari Ferrari since the 1990s!
Yup, now we can all go buy Zondas!!! ...right?
Nope, the government added a loophole where the Zonda can now be brought into the States as a “kit car” (AMG engine/Pagani chassis). I know a few Huayra owners have ordered new Zonda 760s from Pagani in the US.
Drool...... cannot wait for Zondas to become US legal next year.
Right, so Mid-Ohio or Road Atlanta could be a consideration. They tried Mexico and Montreal for a while too.
Yup, and they experimented with Mexico, Montreal, etc. It’s a shame Cup never gets to try any other Road Courses.
There are a plethora of beautiful road courses across the country that NASCAR could run - I’d rather see the Cup series run Mid-Ohio or VIR or Road Atlanta or Laguna Seca, COTA, etc. than another date at Sonoma or the Glen.
Hmm, that looks far too similar to the Project 7 (the ‘vert).
I have a family member involved in a similar lawsuit. Fender bender, everyone walks away, person hit claims “permanent disablement” and “debilitating injuries” suffered from the carnage. It’s insurance fraud, and the shame is, most people get away with settlements from this BS.
“On tonight’s Top Gear: Jeremy removes a boulder from a road!”
I still think we, as car people, are better off now with two quality shows coming this year. Time will tell, I suppose.
I wonder if Doug could offer any insight...
There is, in fact, a way to “invest” in cars: you apply for a dealer license. If you have a friend who owns a shop, storage facility or showroom, it’s actually much easier than you might think. As long as you have a showroom and an official LLC/business name, you can buy cars at wholesale prices, not have to register…
I know I’m in the minority but the more I see the GT (including in person), the less I like it. I don’t think white suits the car at all.
Talk about a disappointing sounding car - the SLR was that.
