Yes, I’m the organizer of Cars and Caffe in Bergen County. Small world!

Seriously though...

McLarens are going to cost a pretty penny to maintain without a warranty.

That was an appropriate response from Harris, I’d say. In reality, he probably had no idea anyway.

Salamone is a down-to-earth nice guy who uses his status and wealth to do an extraordinary amount of charity work.

Haha fair enough!

It’s easy to forget that the GT-86 is one of the best affordable new cars on the market.

It’s more supply and demand for cases like the 599, LP640, etc. There are double digit manual 599 and LP Murcis in existence, out of the ~ 4,000 built total. The 918 inflated the CGT market, in my opinion (Ferrari Enzos, F50s, etc. have sky-rocketed too). I think we have seen the peak of the curve for now, as at least

I do every time.

A suspension is harsh, but I suppose they are making an example of him.

This is true. There are so many exclusive events for the top of the top, not just in the car world!

Not really. There’s a couple dozen LaFs near me (NYC) and I can think of maybe two that are “celebrity” owned.

This is what happens when you take a LaFerrari out of its natural environment...... a climate controlled garage.

It will still be a LaFerrari... with a story. Yes, the values on the other cars went up.

I know of at least one other Miura that has been sitting in NJ. I wouldn’t call it abandoned, but few know it’s where it is (let alone have seen it) and it hasn’t seen daylight in years. Then there’s a couple more Miuras sitting in pieces in another NJ shop.

Or sound better

Disagree.

I can understand your point but I disagree on a lot of fronts. First of all, crazy as it is, I love the F50. It has one of the best looking back ends of any car, and it far better looking than the Enzo. The 550 is one of the all-time pretty Ferraris. The 360 is okay, but the CS is pretty. The non-Pininfarina new cars

Some of these aren’t exactly “cars”......

Any Viper. Those clutches aren’t fun in traffic.
