This isn’t news. I have a few friends with new Z06s and they knew this upon delivery of the cars. *Knock on wood* they haven’t had any issues.

I’ll never forget my first time seeing a Miura in person. It was this car (an SV) in the *spectator parking lot* at the Americana Manhasset show in the fall of 2012, parked right next to a minivan. There are moments in life you never forget... this was one for me.

Also, many (if not most) dealership employees aren’t really car enthusiasts; it’s their job - they see cars every day. I know... Skylines are unique, but it’s just a car to a lot of those people.

This is basically how I learned to drive stick. I got about 5 minutes behind the wheel of a friend’s manual car the day before I picked up my Corvette. The 100 mile drive home was an experience I’ll never forget (I stalled 4 times!).
