I’ve always been able to withstand the death of a major character. I never had any problem with Dumbledore, Lupin, or any of the Starks dying because it felt like their deaths let the story progress.

What about sport channels? That’s about 104% of the reason why I still keep my cable subscription.

To be fair though, nobody forced Steam on you; the same cannot be said for Origin, which made you make an account and go through the store for certain games. Maybe that’s where all the hate comes from.
