Just tonight, while driving 10 kph over the speed limit, about half an hour past sunset I was rapidly overtaken by a black, dirty Sprinter van, with NO lights on. Even the mandatory-in-Canada daytime running lights had been disabled. This vehicle was not seeable.
Serious question: How can it tell? Does it optically sense the lane markings? If so, it will be seriously useless in any northern state or Canada, where the lane markings are pretty much obliterated every winter by salt and plowing.

If this design followed VW practice from the sixties, the windshield washer would have been part of the spare tire assembly, since it would have been powered by tire pressure. (Which argues against that lump under the front seats being the spare, I guess.)
Fuel tank is the blue thing at the base of the windscreen? Spare is under the front seats, intersecting with the rear passengers' feet?
