The windows don't roll down. The front half of the glass slides back, outside of the back half. (On 2CVs the bottom half folds up, so this counts as a modernization). MAYBE if you were very flexible you could reach backward to the outside handle through the front half of the window.

These cars, (and other 1300 lb. cars, generally) do not have power assisted brakes.
