Exactly.
Exactly.
ALL THE ZIPTIES!!!!
Yes. VW leatherette is just fantastic - almost as good as MB-Tex, which I would argue is better than the real thing.
I would say the probability of the EPA and CARB accepting this fix is very close to zero, which is the same probability that a new DPF/catalytic converter would have little-to-no impact on economy and performance.
“Paint Job 2 tone Metallic Red and Black with Sparkles (cost $5000)”
Seriously though, why do we care about rotaries? They’re just worse. It’s time for them to wankel off already.
This bike is worth about $2500 tops. It’s by far one of the least desirable bikes of the entire CB line, most of which aren’t worth over $5k in the first place. I have a ‘73 CB450 (completely original), and I could maybe unload it for $4k. Total CP.
I know this issue has come up several times, but I’m glad that GA doesn’t have state inspections. Sure, I have to hang out behind a POS 1980s Fleetwood every now and then, but I also have the freedom to drive whatever-the-hell POS I want. And I like me some POS.
Schakowsky on the offense!
None for diesels in Georgia (or for any cars outside of the Metro Atlanta area).
Now I can’t stop watching this guy.
Same here - bought my JSW in October 2014. I might have been suckered, but honestly I’m hoping that they offer some sort of voucher to trade in for a new model. This would probably be better for two reasons:
check out @ellaspede - it’s a shop from Australia with some great classic builds.
Got an appraisal for my ‘14 JSW yesterday: http://towels.kinja.com/i-took-my-tdi-…
O’Reilly. Why? Because nobody’s ever there (at least true of the one near my house).
I give this a resounding “meh.”
Excellent post! Deezulz4lyfe! ...or something
One thousand times yes.
