Honestly, these prices seem very reasonable and on par with similar exotic vehicle maintenance costs. A single wheel on an AMG Mercedes can easily exceed $2,500. A new M5 transmission costs more than $9k.

Thank you! I’ve had excellent luck with the M119 and M113 V8's and heard some horror stories about the M156's but am excited to experience a dedicated AMG powerplant.

You were fooled by cheap stitched vinyl (‘eco-leather’) floor mats, the likes of which proliferate eBay and are likely cheaper to make than actual carpeted or thick rubber mats. 

Love these kits, the Tamiya Mica Blue spray makes an excellent match to the Subie color and have always had excellent results for a rattle can.

Love the Mitsy Montys, always thought of them as a weird Land Cruiser for a fraction of the price.
