Have you actually read this book? Because a large chunk of the book is DeBecker saying explicitly that he wants to outline real danger signals so people can concentrate on those, and not merely be vaguely on guard and stressed most of the time when it’s not needed.
Haha when I saw that scene I was like “man, they are *not* doing it right.”
Ugh - re: anyone who says “you don’t know my life!” an excuse for shitty behavior - no, but your actions tell me a lot about you.
Yeah but my friend said that there isn’t enough kitten air time worth the $15. He says (and I haven’t seen it) the trailer is basically all the kitten time there is in the whole movie
OMG pleasssssse describe what it was like
What about anal sex, a la pegging? Because... hey, that’s still anal sex and I have to admit, it *does* make me feel like a true, fierce, powerful woman. :P
That was my thought - he's fucking terrible at running a business
I think what I have decided for my life mantra is *we* can change, but others will not. I believe people *can* change, but it is so hard that you can’t believe others will, but you are in control of yourself. Keeps the despair of “oh my god i’ll always be stuck” away, but won’t put you in an abusive or hopeless…
So instead of *possibly* not getting paid - he just decided that he flat out doesn’t want to be paid?
Wait where is the most important part of this story
Rek’sai *is* super hot idk what these people are talking about
This story makes me so happy!
Don’t forget that sweet sweet Mailchimp $$
holy....crap
The original snake oil *did* work - it was the salesmen/hucksters after that that did not understand it was a specific kind of snake that produced the correct oil
Also if we think about this as an actual physical thing (like a disease), no one is like “well, zika/ebola only affects a small minority of people, so it’s not a societal issue” we’re like OMG STOP THAT SHIT NOW THAT SHIT IS DAAAAAAAAAANGEROUS
So then the question is - if it’s a small majority of men, then why the hell has almost *every* woman experienced something similar? Even if it’s just an incredibly small minority of men, if that minority is disproportionally affecting a majority of women, is that not then a societal issue?
I’m not disagreeing that states rules vary widely (oh god, do they ever) nor do I think ID laws aren’t bullshit. I’m going on my own experience from a state that has its very large share of bullshit laws. I don’t know why Texas has made it so easy to become a notary, and our whole office got their notary stuff…
I *am* a notary, and in my state it took 15 minutes to fill out the form and like 2 weeks to get the stuff (mine personally took a little longer because they had just changed SoS). It was about $70 total.
