Yeah, but I hate to see changes conflated as instantly a bad thing, when really it’s a matter of story telling and character appeal. Nobody cares about changes when it works out, and you don’t know if it’s gonna work until you witness the finished product. The trouble with some fans is that they think every detail is

Here here!

Its definitely a tactic and the critique should lean more towards that then on “ I never imagined..so and so as a blank...and it’s weird that they picked this actor...oh I dunno.”

Maybe she's sad because she had to stab so many mofos in the neck, war is hell.

Being a rebel wouldn't follow with ass kicking phase? Not much of a rebel then.

Yeah, but Galavant was cancelled. Too soon IMHO

...that's how the film series has looked

We really are missing out on some quality bearded lady kink, with that nice soft lighting too.

This is legit take that I'd rather see more towards this show and the franchise universes in general

I think you could if like the opinion wasn’t “Rey has Mary Sue vagina powers and that’s what’s bad about this trilogy“ and was instead “They have no idea where this story is going and the mystery box only works for tv shows, movies even trilogies need to be a clearly planned even if you’re only building onto an idea

To be fair, Marvel was very loose with it’s adaptations of it’s characters. None of them are entirely accurate to their comic equivalent without minor tweaks that we’ve mostly forgotten because it worked in story and was fun.

I agree that board room please everybody leaves nobody ultimately satisfied (see Star Wars sequel trilogy, prime example)

There’s an intersection between the alleged forced diversity and unnecessary and poor adaptations, and I think the problem lies with you have to get at so much pre-release controversy before you can address the problem with these failed shows.

Can you imagine coming away from reading a series where the main character consistently loses even when he wins and is told he’s a arrogant inflexible twat waffle by anybody who gets the chance and arrive at...goth boy power fantasy. What amazing times we live in! My zest for life is returned.

The read of The Sandman as a power fantasy for pasty goths who want a pasty goth girlfriend is such terrible take that it’s clear you never sat down and read it and only just saw the title around and assumed story points. Which is what geeks do all the time for things they personally never get into. A dismissive

I mean that’s definitely the way that feels because the Creedence story is more the driving force and the reveal is so lame at the end it literally deflates the flow of action in that movie. Which is again why an actual screenwriter or whatever should’ve been in place.

Well it might’ve helped if they treated the people who committed treason...like they committed treason and not hand them a participation trophy for whiteness.

I mean the biggest failure of the civil war was not getting rid of states rights, because it was always gonna come back to this if half the country can just commit treason willy nilly. That and not instantly granting citizenship and voting rights to everybody, but ya know...racism and classicism needed to be

Basically covert borderland resorts. Not a bad idea honestly could flips a lot of these so called “Bad neighborhoods” and make them hubs for this sort of operation. If anybody had a clear headed idea of what was at stake and the ultimate goal in mind for all this.
