*must... hate... something*

Maybe I have a problem, but I am still not tired of Hugh as Wolverine. I thought I would be, be The Wolverine and DOFP was just...well great.

Personally I think that 'that' Thor is Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel and that Thor Odinson will still be around but Carol will have Thors powers much in the same way Beta Ray Bill does.

Hey, guys, posting from iPhone (Safari and Chrome) is totally fucked.

Thus we establish the Rule of Gza:

Agreed. Their attempts to mimic Marvel's success is pitiful. It's even worse than Warner/DC because the folks at Sony could actually work with Marvel Studios and share in that success. I like to think that Feige would be happy to have Spidey pop up in the MCU, but Avi Arad and the rest are just too bitter to ever let

I'm working on my Roberto Orci/Alex Kurtzman bingo card of go-to tropes for this movie. So far, off the top of my head, elements they have recycled multiple times from their own work that make there way into this one:

Stop.... buying.... tickets.... to.... this.... crap. Make Sony lose their shirts on these movies and they will revert the license to Marvel. Spidey belongs in the MCU, not in the Sony crapiverse.

when will super hero movies stop giving us horrible villains like this?

At least we finally got JRJR eyes.

BAAAAHAHAHAA.

I don't buy the sound tubes. The bottom render shows what would be a loud loud exterior space. Filled with people and moving trains. The lighting is nice but imagine the lighting in winter. Austere and artificial.

The intervention in the city is completely outside the character and scale of the surrounding cityscape

I think we'll all rue the day Avengers became successful, as studio heads get greedier and greedier and that cash cow starts to deliver the same kind of trite as the 2000's started to deliver after the first X-men and Spider-man successes. Or like the round of crap that flooded the market after the 90's success of the

uhh... what? You don't think snarky Peter Parker and snide Tony Stark would banter their balls off? You can't picture a Hulk delivered Spidey-torpedo? Spider-man fits perfectly with the Avengers group. And even though Spider-man and Torch were friend (i think) in the comics, that's all that's going on in that team-up.

he is actually bitter because he realizes he's a moron. Word is he got angry as hell when he was shut out of Marvel by Feige and even angrier when Marvel started getting success and supposedly lost his shit when Avengers made $200 million on one weekend and his Spidey reboot was seen as meh. Even worse is he knows

Arad's just bitter that his movies are crap while the MCU is killing it. "That would only happen when we've run out of stories to tell." Are you kidding me? This coming from a guy who rebooted a franchise 5 years after the previous one ended. I think the idea pool is already drying up there buddy. You can tell the

as Avi's saying, isn't necessary until you feel like, 'Wow, we're sort of out of ideas. What should we do?' And we're far from out of ideas.

If Sony and Fox truly cared for "megafranchises" then they should allow the Disney ameba to envelope them and understand that Marvel Studios is the more successful one as of now. To stay true to the comic source, just combine it all already. Spidey deserves to have a cameo in anything Avengers-ish so Thor can label

Easily Spider-Man. Without question. One hero to anchor a universe full of bad guys and "anti-heroes?" That's a set-up for failure. I'm sure all the Whedon-fanboys and girls will say DC because they don't get anything, but the answer is, unequivocally, Spider-Man.

MOST doomed? Sony's. As much as I love Spidey (he's only behind Batman and Kitty Pryde on my list of favorite heroes), trying to build an entire "megafranchise" on one hero, all his rogues gallery and two anti-heroes (Venom & Black Cat) is doomed to failure. Peter Parker is a true hero, but he is the only tentpole in
